Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress born in Berkeley on the 1st of October 1995. She is an actress, famous as the actress behind Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House
Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which includes directors and actors, worked in both areas. In 1985, she made her debut in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, Michele Soavi's The Church was directed by Michele Soavi and she played the role of Cristina Comencini's Zoo. Then, in 1989, she played Nanni Moretti's (also directed) daughter in Red Wood Pigeon. Close Friends, written and directed Michele Placido in 1992, was the point where Asia's acting career started off. As she grew older, playing girl roles, she went on to play more complex and more mature roles. This movie received a positive reception in the Cannes International Film Festival. She's made three films along with her father, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome and Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom of the Opera marks her third collaboration alongside her dad. The others are Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a Nozze demonstrated Asia's intense style in acting. The year 1993 saw her appeared as Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. The role was in which she was so intricate that she earned the David di Donatello Award as the most outstanding actress. Patrice Chereau directed her in Queen Margot the film, in which she played a prominent role. She also appeared with Michel Piccoli as Traveling Companion in the film Peter Del Monte. This role won her both a David di Donatello (for the best actor) as well as a Grolla de Oro. Asia began directing for an occupation in the year 1994. The first film she directed was Prospettive. The film she made about her dad followed by Abel/Asia (1998), a film that won a prize at the Rome Film Festival in 1998. They were each directed from 1996 to 1998. Asia directed her debut film in Scarlet Diva (2000). The film was a collaboration with Asia with screenwriter/actor Linda McArtney. The film released May 2000, both in Italy as well as throughout the globe. In Brooklyn, New York it won a award at the Williamsburg film festival. Anna Lou, the first of her two daughters was born in January 2001. In 2002, she was in The Red Siren directed by Olivier Megaton and starred alongside Jean-Marc Barr. Rob Cohen also directed the action thriller together with Vin Diesel. Asia's short stories have also been featured in prestigious publications.
